So, I forgot about this! Now I guess I'll have two blogs -- one on the "other" blogging site about birding here in Texas, and one here about everything else.

So, it's four years later and we're now in San Antonio, TX. Homeschooling worked for Alana, who is now a Ballet Mistress. Dan is at Texas A&M -- an Aggie (WHOOP!).

It's just Avi and myself in the house now, even though we purchased a home with 4 bedrooms and 3-1/2 baths, because Alana fell in love and has moved in with Cory, her hugger. But we have our canyon in the back with, to date, 54 species of birds.

Everyone in Rochester assumed we would hate it here in Texas and couldn't figure out why we ever wanted to move here. That's a good thing, since I wouldn't want most of them here, mucking up the good-spirited, humor filled attitudes that pervade this city's population. The sun really does make a difference in how people feel, I think. As I tell everyone, there's a reason it was worshipped by the ancients.

So, I'm back! Let's see where I go this time around!
